The ideal candidate will be either a Pediatric Occupational Therapist or Speech Pathologist and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality therapeutic support to individuals and families. This role involves working with diverse populations, including children and adolescents, and requires a thorough understanding of various therapeutic modalities and documentation practices. Both administrative and clinical skills are necessary to ensure that all services provided are efficient and meet the expected quality of Sunbreak Therapy Services.
Clinical Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy to clients, focusing on their individual needs and treatment goals. Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans based on client evaluations. Facilitate group therapy sessions to promote peer support and shared experiences among clients.Managing Duties:
Supports clinicians on team: re: attendance, productivity, Growth Development plans Meets regularly with other Clinic Leads & Leadership team Run weekly clinic meeting with clinic staff Complete regular (quarterly) chart review to check on notes and billing for quality and accuracy Assist with training new therapists in documentation & Sunbreak systems Organize material and testing needs, oversee budget for department and request items to be purchased by owners Participate with All-Team meetings, Department meetings Schedule 25-50% of work hours for Lead duties, 25-50% clinical dutiesEducation:
Masters Degree or Doctorate Degree Licensure/Certification:
Current applicable (OR) state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Occupational Therapist required. CPR certification recommended.Clinical Skill Requirements:
Demonstrates competency to set and follow schedule, work independently. Superb communication skills to (with Sunbreak team and clients/families) Ability to perform bilingual services a plus (increased pay rate) Experience with Feeding, Dyslexia, Oral Myofunctional Disorders, Adult & Pediatric Rehabilitation a plus!Management Skill Requirements:
Exceptional verbal and written skills. Demonstrates competency to manage schedule and work independently. Excellent organizational skills. Strong computer skills.Strong management skills:

Shows understanding of the company goals and needs Shows initiative to co-create programs and processes to improve the clinic and the entire organization Makes informed and timely decisions, considering the well-being of both clients and team members and the greater good of the entire practice. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. Excellent organizational skills for managing medical records and treatment documentation. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in therapy.Job Type:
