Job Summary:
Minimum/Required Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology; OR a Bachelor's of Science with 12 months of clinical experience in all major disciplines (Blood Banking, Chemistry, and Hematology). Requires 3-5 years of experience in a clinical lab setting doing lead work and/or teaching. Familiar with automated instrumentation such as hematology, coagulation, and chemistry analyzers. Experience doing microscopic work such as differentials and urinalysis. Implementing best practices and quality assurance processes. Must demonstrate excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Experience with lead work, mentoring lab members, providing technical guidance and support. Possesses sufficient organizational skills to multi task effectively in a dynamic fast paced environment with minimal supervision. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate professionally with a variety of students, faculty, staff, and clients. Position Duties 30%
