Patient Care Coordinator (Part-Time) Connect & Beyond Physical Therapy is a locally woman-owned, values-driven rehabilitation clinic and movement center committed to exceptional care for our Portland community and beyond. We specialize in personalized, evidence-based physical therapy and also offer holistic wellness classes like Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates, MELT, Essentrics, and Strength Training in our on-site gym and studio.

https://www.connectoregon.com/ We're currently seeking a part-time Patient Care Coordinator to join our close-knit front office team. This reception role is ideal for someone with a passion for patient service, a quick mind and sharp eye for detail, and prior experience in medical office administration, especially with insurance verification and prior authorizations. Position Details Approx. 22 hours per week on Monday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Tuesday; Shifts fall between 7:30am-5:30pm, depending on the day Hourly pay: Starting at $20.00, depending on experience Part-Time Benefits include: Paid time off 401k with employer matching Free fitness and wellness classes Collaborative, community-focused work culture What You'll Do As a Patient Care Coordinator, you'll manage the daily flow of the clinic and ensure every patient feels welcome, supported, and cared for.
Key responsibilities include:
Greeting patients in person and on the phone with warmth and professionalism Scheduling and managing appointments via our EMR system (Prompt) Verifying insurance benefits Preparing patient intake and outcome forms in compliance with HIPAA protocols Managing new patient referrals and following up on intake documentation Assisting patients and clients with class registration (Mindbody platform) Handling phones, faxes, emails, and chats in an organized manner Collaborating with providers, billing, and admin staff throughout the day Managing front office organization, laundry, supply restocking, and general tidiness What We're Looking For We're seeking a reliable, organized, and compassionate teammate who brings: 1-2 years of experience in a medical front office (required) Interest in physical therapy or healthcare administration (required) Proficiency in insurance verification and prior authorization workflows (preferred) Strong computer skills, especially with Google Workspace and EMR systems Friendly, clear verbal and written communication Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment A commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality Associates degree or higher (preferred) Experience with medical terminology (preferred) If you're someone who finds fulfillment in helping others, thrives in a team-oriented setting, and enjoys the rhythm of a well-run office, we'd love to meet you.
