Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Medical Assistant - Patient Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as a bridge between patients and providers, ensuring seamless patient care experiences in the office. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your patient service talents and some clinical skills will make a meaningful difference every day. Duties Check in check out Patients Sometimes measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature while rooming in the Patient. Coordinate patient scheduling, follow-up appointments, and referrals to specialists or imaging services like Dexa Scans or ultrasound. Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare provider by providing excellent patient service, answering phone calls with questions, and managing intake processes efficiently in busy clinics. Drafting daily prescription refills request for Provider to approve it to pharmacy Skills Some knowledge about Endocrinology. Proficiency with EHR systems for documentation Excellent patient service skills with a focus on compassionate communication and efficient check in - check out processes for diverse patient populations. The ideal candidate should be a fast learner, good with multi tasking, has good knowledge of medical terminology, have great typing skills, and work well with the team. Applicant is required to be a Medical Assistant for this position.
Pay:
$19.00 per hour
