Job Description

Wilkes University invites applicants for a full time Clinical Nursing Simulation Center staff position/ Clinical Placement Coordinator in the Undergraduate Department of the Passan School of Nursing. This position begins June, 2024. The PSON provides comprehensive programming which has expanded professional opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students. Both the undergraduate and graduate programs are fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). The successful candidate is responsible for assisting students with practice and testing of nursing skills and simulations, arranging clinical placement sites and recruiting adjunct faculty for clinical experiences, serving as Training Center Coordinator for the American Heart Association programs, and collaborating with faculty on assigned committees. A Master's Degree in Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing with active enrollment in a master's in nursing degree program is required. Current license to practice as a registered professional nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is required. Certified as
BLS/ACLS
instructor. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Please be sure to include a cover letter, resume or curriculum vitae and three references.
