Senior Therapist DCFCM • Diakon Behavioral Health Services Williamsport, PA Counseling Services Full Time, Varied
Hours/Pay Period:
75 Req # 10302 Diakon Behavioral Health Services offers a range of counseling and behavioral services to children, teens, families and adult individuals. Services are provided through counseling centers in Mechanicsburg, Lewisburg, Montoursville, Williamsport, within several public-school buildings, Kennett Square, and Chester County. Specialized programs include family-based mental health services, provided in the community and in-home, addiction counseling, trauma-focused therapy and SPIN, a service designed to assist children and youths who have problematic sexual behaviors.
General Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing clinical services to individuals, couples, families, and groups in a co-occurring setting. May serve as clinical supervisor to one or more student interns. Completes comprehensive psychological assessments on each client seen in keeping with professional standards of practice as well as DHS, DOH and other third party requirements. Develops individualized treatment plan for each client per agency procedures. Treatment Plan will be developed in conjunction with the client based on the comprehensive psychological assessment completed. Provides a wide range of therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families and groups based on individualized assessment and treatment plans in conjunction with the treatment team. Coordinates case management on all assigned cases.
Education/Training:
A graduate degree from a college or university in a generally recognized clinical discipline in which the degree program includes a clinical practicum; LMFT, LP, LPC or LCSW normally required.
Experience:
 Post-Master's supervised clinical experience preferred. 5-10 years of clinical experience normally required.
ADA:
Visual and auditory skills; moderate PC skills; ability to bend, stoop, sit, stand, reach and lift items weighing up to 25 lbs.; valid driver's license.
