Job Summary The Clinic Coordinator provides administrative coordination and support to the School-based Health Center (SBHC). The Coordinator is responsible for managing patient registration, scheduling, and check-in as well as operating as the main site contact for school partner referrals and coordination. The Coordinator works with the Program Manager and Clinical Teams to conduct outreach and engagement efforts to increase student, family, school, and community awareness of the SBHC to maximize student utilization. When Schools are not in session, the Coordinator may work a hybrid remote work schedule on outreach and operations projects to support the SBHC. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Reads, speaks, understands and writes proficiently in English. Works independently and is self-directed. Works effectively in a team environment. Demonstrates leadership and basic management skills. Organizes, prioritizes, and coordinates multiple activities and tasks. Problem solves with creativity and ingenuity. Use of multi-line telephones and other office machines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Knowledge of medical terminology. Ability to develop meaningful and appropriate relationships with students, school staff, and families. Ability to develop successful interpersonal relationships with diverse populations including leaders, clinicians, school staff, and Community Based Organizations. Ability to understand and maintain productivity expectations and generate solutions to overcome any barriers. Ability to demonstrate excellent verbal communication skills and customer service.
