JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
Responsible for supervising the staff and daily operations of the front office of a clinic. Acts as a liaison between the office and other division clinics, clinical areas and SHS departments such as billing.
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION SHS
Surgical Specialists provide general, vascular, thoracic, breast and minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required. One (1) of the following required: Three (3) years experience in a healthcare setting. Associate's degree plus one (1) year experience in a healthcare setting. Experience or training in the following required: Medical/insurance terminology. ICD-9/10 and CPT coding. Computer applications. One (1) year of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
