Summary:
A Clinical Supervisor, in addition to providing individual clinical duties, is responsible for supporting and supervising the clinical branch of Traverse Therapy Services. The Clinical Supervisor leads and supports the clinical staff in providing excellent care for clients with identified behavioral health conditions.
Additional duties include:
interviewing and hiring new clinicians, aiding in offboarding employees and supporting client transfers in house, ensuring the company adheres to current state healthcare laws and regulations and partners with the medical and administrative branches to aid the company's overall wellbeing.
Responsibilities:
- Leads and supervises the clinical staff in the psychotherapy department and directs them to utilize appropriate company tools and specific personnel.
- Aids in identifying, developing and implementing Traverse's clinical policies and standard operating procedures
- including those shared through the HR portal and Traverse's company intranet.
- Coordinates with different department heads
- including administrators, office managers and the medical branch
- to foster effective cross-company collaboration.
- Addresses client complaints in a professional manner and ensures company compliance with administrative code and ethical standards. This includes referring to the Traverse legal counsel, when necessary, and implementing strategies for company quality improvement and increased client satisfaction.
- Monitors clinician performance metrics and takes necessary action. Provides supportive feedback within the organization to individuals and administration that advances the company mission statement.
- Sets the tone for a solution-focused workplace culture and dialogue by modeling direct communication and efficient conflict-resolution skills.
- Maintains current knowledge of healthcare industry trends and changes, implementing them within the Traverse clinical branch.
- Maintains 40 hours of availability per week. This includes, but is not limited to: providing individual billable client hours, supervising clinical supervisors, supporting fully-licensed and associate-level clinicians, hosting necessary one-on-one meetings with staff, participating in weekly leadership development and host/co-host both bi-monthly treatment team meetings.
- Approves timecards for identified staff.
- Staff cases, as appropriate, with Clinical Supervisors and/or some clinicians, as needed.
- Supports the HR department and Executive Administrators with clinician onboarding/offboarding needs.
This includes supporting the company hiring process by conducting candidate interviews and providing necessary follow-up communication.
Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal skills. Excellent communication and active end reflective listening skills. Ability to build rapport quickly among diverse communities. Detail oriented. Ability to lead and communicate with compassion and empathy. Strong ability to manage time and prioritize tasks. Meets education, experience and all licensing requirements. Owns a Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling and/or a related field. Meets all current state licensing requirements, including LPCC, LICSW and LMFT. Can withstand prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
