Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Clinical Supervisor to lead and oversee clinical services within our behavioral health programs. Responsibilities Provide direct supervision and mentorship to licensed and unlicensed clinical staff, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and ethical standards. Oversee patient assessments, intake procedures, and diagnostic evaluations utilizing medical terminology and ICD coding systems (ICD-9/10). Lead individual and group therapy sessions incorporating evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and motivational interviewing. Coordinate crisis intervention efforts, crisis management plans, and emergency responses for clients experiencing acute mental health or behavioral crises. Ensure accurate documentation of medical records, treatment plans, progress notes, and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Facilitate case management activities including treatment planning, data collection for research purposes, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Support specialized services such as working with children with autism or disabilities, pediatrics, PTSD care, or addiction counseling as needed. Skills Proven experience in behavioral health or mental health counseling with a focus on child & family counseling or working with individuals with disabilities. Strong knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and crisis management strategies. Expertise in therapeutic modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral management, and psychotherapy. Familiarity with medical documentation standards, ICD coding systems (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, and medical terminology. Ability to conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations using diagnostic tools aligned with ICD coding systems. Excellent case management skills with experience in social work or hospital settings; familiarity with HIPAA compliance is essential. Experience working with children, individuals with autism or developmental disabilities; knowledge of special education practices is a plus. Strong communication skills for conducting intake interviews, patient education sessions, and team collaboration.
