POSITION SUMMARY
The Clinical Supervisor provides functional oversight of the COMPACT Behavioral Health Team and ensures that all clinical services delivered to program participants are high-quality, ethical, trauma-informed, and aligned with funder and BBS requirements. The Supervisor leads team development, oversees fidelity to evidence-based practice models, provides BBS-compliant clinical supervision to associate-level clinicians toward their licensure hours, and collaborates with leadership on clinical program design, quality assurance, and continuous improvement. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical Supervision and Team Leadership Provide individual, triadic, and group clinical supervision to ASWs and AMFTs in compliance with California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) requirements, including all required supervision ratios, documentation, and supervision agreements. Verify, support, and sign supervisee hours toward LCSW and LMFT licensure, ensuring all ASWs receive the LCSW-supervised hours required by California law. Provide day-to-day functional oversight of the COMPACT Mental Health Team, including clinical case consultation, treatment plan review, risk assessment support, and ethical decision-making guidance. Lead regular team meetings, case conferences, and clinical learning forums. Conduct performance feedback, coaching, and professional development planning for clinical team members. Evidence-Based Practice and Quality Assurance Oversee implementation and fidelity of evidence-based therapeutic models used across the team, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and other modalities required by funders or aligned with program goals. Conduct chart reviews, documentation audits, and quality assurance activities in the Efforts to Outcomes (ETO) database or other systems used by COMPACT. Develop and maintain clinical practice guidelines, supervision protocols, and quality benchmarks aligned with funder expectations and best-practice standards. Support program evaluation, outcomes reporting, and continuous quality improvement efforts. Clinical Service Delivery Maintain a partial clinical caseload to support program capacity, model practice, and remain credentialed for direct service. Provide mental health assessments, treatment planning, and clinical interventions including individual, family, and group counseling, wraparound services, and crisis intervention. Conduct home visits, school visits, field visits, and office visits as appropriate to meet the needs of youth and families. Provide crisis intervention services and triage for telephone and walk-in contacts. Coordination and Partnership Coordinate clinical service delivery with Probation, schools, public agencies, and other community partners involved in participant care. Participate in Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) meetings, referral source meetings, and partner case consultations. Ensure timely progress reports, referrals, and required reporting to funders and partner agencies. Administrative and Organizational Maintain accurate case records and clinical documentation in ETO or other data management systems as required by COMPACT and its funding sources. Produce monthly statistical and clinical reports as required by COMPACT and funders. Participate in agency special events, fundraisers, annual meetings, and open houses. Participate in program design, special projects, and initiatives aligned with COMPACT's mission. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS
Required Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program. Active, unrestricted Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, in good standing and not under probation or suspension. Licensed as an LCSW for at least 2 of the past 5 years prior to the start of supervision. Completion of the BBS-required 15-hour clinical supervision training course, or willingness and ability to complete the course within 30 days of hire. Commitment to completing 6 hours of supervision-related continuing professional development each renewal cycle. Minimum 2 years of clinical experience working with youth, families, and individuals impacted by trauma, justice-system involvement, or other adverse life experiences. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with culturally and linguistically diverse populations. Ability to exercise independent judgment, maintain confidentiality, and act in accordance with professional ethical standards. Valid California driver's license and ability to travel for home, school, and field visits. Strongly Preferred Bilingual in Spanish. Prior experience supervising ASWs and AMFTs toward BBS licensure. Prior experience in a community-based or neighborhood-serving nonprofit organization. Experience with evidence-based modalities including CBT, trauma-informed care, and family systems approaches. Experience in individual, group, and family counseling; gender-responsive services; outreach and community education; advocacy; and case management. Experience with electronic health records and outcomes-based reporting systems such as ETO. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
