Position Overview The Clinical Supervisor will provide clinical oversight, mentorship, consultation, and professional development to Associate Therapists working within the practice. The ideal candidate understands that effective supervision extends beyond case review and compliance. They view supervision as a transformative process that develops critical thinking, strengthens clinical judgment, fosters professional identity, and prepares emerging therapists to become confident, ethical, and effective clinicians. Key Responsibilities Provide individual and/or group supervision to Associate Therapists in accordance with California Board requirements Guide associates in clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and case conceptualization Support ethical decision-making and professional development Foster critical thinking, self-reflection, and clinical confidence Assist clinicians in navigating complex clinical presentations and systems of care Promote high standards of documentation, risk management, and quality assurance Encourage culturally responsive and trauma-informed clinical practice Collaborate with leadership to support practice growth and clinical excellence Contribute to the development of training initiatives and professional learning opportunities Qualifications Active California license as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or Licensed Psychologist Qualified to provide supervision under California regulations Minimum five years of post-licensure clinical experience preferred Previous supervision, leadership, training, or mentorship experience strongly preferred Strong clinical judgment and ethical decision-making skills Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership abilities Commitment to fostering clinician development and professional excellence Alignment with Soul Tide Therapy's mission and values The Supervisor We Are Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who: Sees mentorship as a professional calling rather than an administrative obligation Finds fulfillment in helping clinicians grow into their professional identity Balances support with accountability Creates a learning environment that encourages curiosity, humility, and growth Models professionalism, integrity, and clinical excellence Understands the importance of integrating behavioral health within broader systems of care Wants to leave a lasting impact on the future of the profession What We Offer A meaningful leadership role within a mission-driven organization The opportunity to influence the development of future behavioral health professionals A collaborative and supportive practice culture Flexible scheduling options Competitive compensation Opportunities to contribute to program development and organizational growth The chance to be part of a practice dedicated to redefining how behavioral healthcare is delivered Compensation Soul Tide Therapy values the expertise, leadership, and professional responsibility that clinical supervisors bring to the development of emerging therapists.
Compensation is provided as follows:
$130 per individual supervision hour $174 per triadic supervision hour Supervisors are compensated for all scheduled supervision sessions and have the opportunity to play a meaningful role in shaping the next generation of behavioral health professionals within a growing, mission-driven practice. Compensation structure and supervision volume will be discussed during the interview process based on availability, practice needs, and supervisor qualifications.
