A Clinical Supervisor or Manager supervises staff and manages services in a clinical program. May provide clinical supervision for nursing, counseling or home health care staff. Works to ensure quality patient care. Trains and develops clinical staff and manages clinical program budgets.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head of Services to serve a critical leadership role within our Short-Term Residential Treatment Program (STRTP). This position ensures that each client's unique needs are identified, addressed, and met. The Head of Services oversees all clinical operations for the assigned facility, maintaining compliance, quality of care, and client-centered practices. This role is hybrid to support multiple programs, primary program being in Stockton.
Key Responsibilities:
Review placement packets and coordinate client intakes, admissions, and transfers Collaborate with counties, social workers, probation, and internal care teams Enter and maintain client records in multiple portals; ensure compliance and audit readiness Schedule required medical, educational, and well-being appointments; coordinate school enrollment and IEPs Participate in CFTs, IEPs, and collaborative meetings; provide regular progress updates to stakeholders Ensure regulatory compliance (CCL, STRTP) and complete required reports Participate in on-call rotation and transport clients as needed Other duties as assigned - this is a summary of duties, not intended to replace formal job description
Minimum Requirements:
Master's Degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Marriage & Family Therapy, Child Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Psychology, or a related field (required). Minimum 1 year of therapeutic experience with adolescents (preferred). Experience with CSEC youth , foster care, or public child welfare (highly desirable). Comprehensive background check. Health screening (LIC503).
Additional Qualifications:
Ability to complete and maintain monthly Needs & Services Plans. Strong crisis intervention and stabilization skills. Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices. Ability to pass a Live Scan & criminal background exemption process. Current CPR/First Aid certification. Pay:
$110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
