We are a growing behavioral healthcare organization operating multiple substance use disorder and mental health treatment locations and are seeking an experienced, California-licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our clinical team. We are flexible in how this position is structured and are interested in finding the right long-term clinical partner. The position can range from a part-time Clinical Supervisor role overseeing AMFTs and reviewing/signing clinical documentation to a more involved leadership position where the LMFT provides therapy, supervises clinicians, and helps us build and oversee a larger clinical team across multiple programs. Potential Responsibilities Depending on the candidate's desired level of involvement, responsibilities may include: Provide clinical supervision to Associate Marriage and Family Therapists (AMFTs) Review and sign off on AMFT clinical documentation, assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required records as appropriate Provide individual and/or group supervision Ensure clinical documentation meets professional, ethical, regulatory, and organizational standards Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy if interested in a direct clinical role Assist with clinical case consultation and treatment planning Support clinical quality assurance and documentation compliance Help recruit, train, supervise, and develop therapists and associate clinicians Assist in building a clinical team underneath the supervisor as our organization continues to grow Collaborate with program directors, case managers, medical providers, and other members of the treatment team Help establish consistent clinical standards across multiple locations and levels of care Provide clinical leadership for both substance use disorder and mental health programming We Are Open to Several Structures We understand that experienced LMFTs may be looking for different levels of involvement.

Clinical Supervisor:

Primarily supervise AMFTs, review documentation, provide required supervision, and maintain appropriate clinical oversight. LMFT /

Therapist:

Carry a therapy caseload while also providing supervision and support to associate clinicians.

Clinical Leadership:

Take a larger role in developing and overseeing our clinical department, including building a team of therapists and associates underneath you as the organization expands. We are open to discussing part-time, full-time, or a customized arrangement depending on experience and availability. Qualifications Active and unrestricted California LMFT license Qualified to provide supervision to AMFTs in accordance with applicable California requirements Strong understanding of clinical documentation and treatment planning Experience with mental health and/or substance use disorder treatment preferred Experience supervising associate clinicians strongly preferred Knowledge of residential, detox, PHP, IOP, and/or outpatient behavioral healthcare is a plus Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Comfortable working within a growing multi-location behavioral healthcare organization Ideal Candidate We are especially interested in someone who sees the opportunity to grow with the organization.
