Sentara Healthcare is currently hiring a Patient Services Coordinator for Pre-Authorization Remote in VA!Status:
Full-time, permanent position (40 hours) Work hours: 8am to 5pmEST, M-F
with rotating weekend shift (Saturday and Sunday), every other week; This position will be includes data entry and making and receive provider calls for pre-authorizationLocation:
This is a remote position in Virginia.Job responsibilities:
A Patient Service Coordinator serves as a key resource in supporting the clinical authorization processes, coordinating linkage between members, primary care providers, specialty providers and other insurance companies. Includes supporting the referral process from providers, as well as pre-authorization approvals for medications and other services as ordered/requested by providers. May provide other general administrative functions such as drafting correspondences, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining records and files, and providing assistance to members. Education HS - High School Grad or EquivalentREQUIRED
Certification/Licensure None required Experience Experience working in HealthcareREQUIRED
