Senior Pastor / Executive Leadership Team Position Overview chosen for greatness ministries is seeking a visionary and experienced Vice President of Mental Health Services Development to lead the creation and launch of a faith-informed mental health department and community mental health agency. This executive leadership position will be responsible for developing the strategic, operational, clinical, and regulatory framework necessary to establish a sustainable and impactful mental health organization that serves individuals, families, and the broader community. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, experience in behavioral health administration, program development, agency startup, and a commitment to compassionate, ethical, and evidence-based mental health care. Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership Design and implement the vision, mission, and strategic plan for the church's mental health department and agency. Collaborate with church leadership to integrate mental health services with the organization's community outreach initiatives. Identify opportunities for growth, partnerships, and community engagement. Agency Development Lead the planning, establishment, and operational launch of a licensed mental health agency. Develop policies, procedures, compliance standards, and quality assurance programs. Ensure adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Clinical Program Development Design mental health programs and service offerings, including counseling, case management, crisis intervention, support groups, and community education. Recruit and oversee licensed clinical professionals and support staff. Establish clinical standards that reflect best practices and ethical care. Financial and Operational Management Develop startup and operational budgets. Identify funding opportunities, grants, donations, and reimbursement sources. Monitor financial performance and operational effectiveness. Community Partnerships Build relationships with healthcare providers, community organizations, schools, and government agencies. Represent the organization at community events and professional meetings. Develop referral networks and collaborative partnerships. QualificationsRequired Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Minimum 1 year of progressive leadership experience in behavioral health, mental health services, or healthcare administration. Demonstrated experience launching programs, departments, or agencies. Knowledge of mental health regulations, accreditation standards, and compliance requirements. Strong organizational, financial, and project management skills. Preferred Clinical licensure (LCSW, LMHC, LPC, PsyD, PhD, or equivalent). Experience with nonprofit leadership and grant development. Familiarity with faith-based organizations and community-centered care models.
