The right candidate will demonstrate our core values of integrity, honesty, transparency, and exemplary patient care while managing the daily operations and growth of our practice.
Duties include:
Managing and performing daily operations of primary care practice, including opening and closing the office, appointment scheduling, checking patients in and out, maintaining current insurance information, ensuring charting is kept up-to-date, and patient contact Ensuring all communications within the office and with patients, payers, pharmacies, and others are handled in a timely and professional manner Managing front desk and MA staff schedules and duties, and providing training, feedback, and corrective performance plans as needed Working collaboratively with our two primary care providers, practice owner, and other key stakeholders to ensure practice goals and standards are achieved Executing prior authorizations, referrals, and other required payer tasks Overseeing patient/insurance collections, liaising with payers, ensuring correct processing of claims, overseeing accounts receivable activity, and auditing and resolving obstacles to claim payments Ensuring provider credentialing is up-to-date Ensuring clinical inboxes are managed in a timely manner and document workflow is standardized and executed by all practice staff Providing the highest level of patient care at every stage from the first contact phone call to the follow-up after the office visit The right candidate will possess the following qualifications: Experience in office or operations management in a primary care practice Experience in medical billing and claims management Highest level of customer service standards Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities Can-do attitude and ability to prioritize, execute, and delegate a variety of tasks High level of integrity and a strong ethical foundation Sound judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Experience with HIPAA requirements Experience with EMR, point-of-sale system, scheduling software, MS Office, and general computer skills Experience with Athena EMR software preferred MA certification preferred Experience with
PCMH/NCQA
