At Upstate Hearing Aid Center, we follow a methodical process of nationally respected best practices that have been established over the past 25 years, bringing the highest level of audiological care to the Foothills and the surrounding area. By dispelling the myths and misconceptions and delivering an honest educational approach to hearing health, patients are able to understand why they may be experiencing hearing challenges, what this means, and the real-world steps that they can take to hear the life that they love. We are presently seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join our amazing team! Responsibilities
  • Answers phones and schedules appointments
  • Greets patients and escorts them from the waiting room to exam rooms; cleans and sanitizes rooms in between patients
  • Completes pre-authorizations; Assists in checking patients in and out from the desk
  • Provides assistance to medical staff when requested.
  • Performs patient education when appropriate.
  • Assists in auditing and completing appropriate documentation in a patient's medical record.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality; complies with HIPAA and compliance guidelines established by the practice.
  • Maintains detailed knowledge of practice management and other computer software as it relates to job functions.
  • Completes all assigned AP training (such as CPR, OSHA, HIPAA, Compliance, Information Security, others) within designated timeframes.
  • Attends all regular meetings.
  • Performs all other tasks and projects assigned by the Manager.

$19.00 - $20.00 per hour
