Job Description

Full-Time Position Aligned Medical Center is seeking an energetic, professional, and highly organized Patient Care Coordinator & Insurance Specialist to join our integrated healthcare team. We are a fast-paced medical, chiropractic, rehabilitation, and regenerative medicine practice that serves up to 80 patients daily with two providers. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy healthcare environment, enjoys helping patients, and takes pride in keeping the office running smoothly. Responsibilities Front Desk & Patient Experience Greet and check in patients with professionalism and enthusiasm. Answer incoming phone calls with a pleasant and confident phone voice. Schedule appointments and coordinate provider schedules. Manage patient flow throughout the day. Collect copays, balances, and required documentation. Maintain a welcoming and organized reception area. Provide excellent customer service during busy periods. Insurance & Billing Support Verify insurance benefits and eligibility. Obtain prior authorizations when necessary. Explain benefits and financial responsibilities to patients. Submit and track insurance claims. Perform claim follow-up and denial management. Communicate with insurance companies regarding outstanding claims. Assist with payment posting and account management. Administrative Support Enter and maintain accurate patient records. Assist providers and clinical staff as needed. Help coordinate referrals and outside records. Support office projects and operational needs. Assist with additional responsibilities as the practice grows. Qualifications 2-5 years of experience in a healthcare office required. Experience with insurance verification and claim follow-up required. Previous medical, chiropractic, physical therapy, or specialty practice experience preferred. Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly. Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities. Professional appearance and demeanor. Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and productive during busy periods. Strong attention to detail. Pleasant and professional phone etiquette.
