Needed in Memphis, Tennessee! The Position An Interim Clinical Director
CVICU & CCU
is needed to provide leadership oversight for high-acuity cardiovascular critical care units, including CVICU, stepdown, ICU, and CCU services.
Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, this leader will oversee a team of approximately 100 FTEs.
Key responsibilities include providing hands-on leadership across daily operations, ensuring appropriate staffing and patient flow, supporting and mentoring staff, and building strong relationships with physicians and key stakeholders while promoting team engagement and continued growth.
The ideal candidate will be a confident, approachable, and highly visible leader who excels at building trust, mentoring staff, and navigating change. They should be collaborative, adaptable, emotionally intelligent, and skilled at fostering engagement and accountability. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical.
Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance. Requirements BSN required; master's degree preferred.
Active Tennessee RN license or compact state license required.
Extensive pediatric experience required, with strong leadership experience in high-acuity cardiovascular and critical care settings, including heart transplant, heart failure, ECMO, and CRRT. Compensation Details Compensation Range:
$160,000 to $170,000 annually.
The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
