Duties Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, providing friendly and professional communication via phone and client communication channels. Coordinate travel arrangements for dental treatment teams, including scheduling appointments at various locations and managing logistics. Assist patients with understanding treatment options, insurance coverage, and financial arrangements while maintaining patient confidentiality at all times. Utilize patient management software and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems to accurately document patient information, treatment plans, and appointment details. Support medical administrative functions such as verifying insurance benefits, processing payments, and ensuring compliance with health regulation policies. Maintain detailed records of patient interactions, treatment progress, and administrative activities using EMR/EHR systems. Collaborate closely with the dental team to ensure smooth operations across different sites and uphold high standards of customer service. Experience Prior experience working in a medical or dental office environment is highly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook to manage documentation and correspondence effectively. Knowledge of health regulation policies and medical terminology to ensure compliance and accurate communication. Experience with medical administrative support tasks such as patient scheduling, insurance verification, and maintaining confidentiality. Familiarity with patient management software, EMR/EHR systems, and electronic health records management is essential. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly via phone and in person while managing client expectations professionally. Ability to type efficiently while accurately capturing detailed information during patient interactions.
