Front Desk Receptionist /
Patient Coordinator Location:
3445 S Preston Rd, Celina, TX Position Summary Frontier Family Eye Care is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Front Desk Receptionist / Patient Coordinator to be the first point of contact for our patients. This individual will manage scheduling, patient check-in/check-out, insurance verification, and general office communications while helping create a welcoming experience for every patient. Key Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments Check patients in and out using our electronic health record (EHR) system Verify vision and medical insurance eligibility and benefits Collect co-pays, balances, and payments Assist with recall reminders and appointment confirmations Coordinate communication between patients, doctors, and staff Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming Support other administrative duties as needed Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent Strong customer service and communication skills Basic computer proficiency (email, scheduling, data entry) Reliable, punctual, and friendly Preferred Previous experience in a medical, dental, or optometry office Experience with insurance verification and patient scheduling Familiarity with some EHR or practice management software Bilingual (English/Spanish) - highly valued Work Schedule Part-time position Two shifts available either Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00am to 1:00pm and Saturdays from 9:00am to 2:00pm Or Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 2:00pm to 5:30pm and Saturdays from 9:00am to 2:00pm Typical schedule aligned with office operating hours Inquire about our full time positon: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00am to 5:30pm and Saturdays from 9:00am to 2:00pm
Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
