Able to handle multiple phone lines, scheduling new patient appointments.
Duties:
  • Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate with healthcare providers
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients and staff
  • Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
  • Schedule new patients and communicate with back end for Insurance verification
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing their needs and concerns
Experience:
  • Previous experience working in a medical or dental office setting is preferred
  • Familiarity with medical office systems such as Eaglesoft, Epic, eClinicalWorks, or similar software
  • Knowledge of patient service principles and practices
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
