Duties:
- Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details
- Schedule appointments and coordinate with healthcare providers
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients and staff
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Schedule new patients and communicate with back end for Insurance verification
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing their needs and concerns
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a medical or dental office setting is preferred
- Familiarity with medical office systems such as Eaglesoft, Epic, eClinicalWorks, or similar software
- Knowledge of patient service principles and practices
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
