Job Description
Description Position Summary The Outpatient/Surgical Services Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, coordination, and daily operations of the Outpatient Department and Surgical Services. This position provides clinical and operational leadership to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and hospital policies. The Manager is responsible for staffing, scheduling, budgeting, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, patient safety, employee development, physician collaboration, and departmental performance. The Manager promotes a culture of accountability, teamwork, excellence, and continuous improvement while supporting the mission, vision, and values of Eastland Memorial Hospital District. Requirements Licensure Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas or compact state with eligibility to practice in Texas. Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred or required based on departmental needs. Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) preferred. Experience Minimum of three (3) years of perioperative nursing experience required. Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Experience in outpatient surgery, PACU, circulating nursing, sterile processing, and regulatory compliance preferred.
