Job Description

Overview As the Clinic Operations Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting both the patient experience and the overall efficiency of the clinic. You will be responsible for managing high-volume patient interactions, coordinating administrative workflows, verifying insurance information, maintaining accurate patient records, and helping ensure smooth communication and operations across the team. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, reliable, comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment, and committed to providing exceptional patient service. Responsibilities Complete high-volume patient check-ins and checkouts in a fast-paced clinical environment. Update and maintain accurate patient demographic and contact information. Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with scheduling appointments and general inquiries. Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage details prior to patient appointments. Ensure accurate billing information and communicate applicable out-of-pocket costs to patients. Collect patient payments and assist with related administrative and billing processes. Navigate and maintain accurate information within Electronic Health Records (EHR) and practice management software. Document and maintain patient information accurately and confidentially. Streamline administrative workflows and assist with improving office processes and efficiency. Coordinate and prioritize daily administrative tasks to support smooth clinic operations. Communicate effectively with team members to promote cohesive operations and quality patient care. Handle patient concerns and inquiries in a timely, professional, and compassionate manner. Assist with ordering, organizing, and maintaining clinic supplies and inventory. Maintain a clean, organized, professional, and welcoming clinic environment. Assist with general office administration and other operational duties as needed. Work independently while also collaborating effectively with the clinic team to meet operational and patient care goals. Maintain strict knowledge of and adherence to all HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality requirements. Demonstrate punctuality, reliability, professionalism, and accountability in all aspects of the role. Qualifications Must be bilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members in both languages. 1-2 years of medical office or healthcare administrative experience required. Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience preferred. Previous experience working in a fast-paced healthcare or clinical environment is strongly preferred. Experience completing patient check-ins, checkouts, and demographic updates. Experience verifying insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage information preferred. Demonstrated ability to navigate Electronic Health Records (EHR) and practice management software. Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members to support cohesive clinic operations and quality patient care. Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new technology and systems. Excellent organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to build rapport with patients and provide compassionate, high-quality customer service. Must be punctual, dependable, and reliable. Working knowledge of and commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality. High school diploma or equivalent required. Pay:
$14.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
