What You'll Do:
The Assistant Clinical Director ensures that all operations and programing operates efficiently and professionally while providing a high standard of customer satisfaction. The Assistant Clinical Director monitors care coordination and quality of care to identify areas for improvement and oversees the work performance of all assigned clinical staff. The Assistance Clinical Director is responsible for ensuring the clinical documentation is current and accurate and meets all regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities:
Follows the operational guidelines set forth for assigned programs by the Executive Director. Support Executive Director with oversight to all staff and provide feedback through the performance evaluation process and if necessary, through counseling and/or corrective action. Communicates with the Executive Director on an ongoing basis any issues with programming, staffing, marketing, and business issues. Oversees and completes chart audits. Communicates with treatment team to ensure chart compliance. Oversees quality assurance requirements and reviews patient satisfaction forms to ensure safety and regulatory requirements. Maintain a positive working relationship with referral sources, community agencies and organizations. Ensures that all interventions (individual, group, and family therapy) are performed and documented according to professional clinical standards. Actively participates in the complaint resolution process as needed. Assists with scheduling and coverage as it relates to staffing needs. Ensures that clarification of the therapeutic role and treatment plan with the patient and family is completed and reviewed by each therapist. Assist in the appropriateness and timeliness of patient discharge, transition, and after-care plans. Demonstrates the ability to work with the utilization review department and communicates with UR on length of stay and treatment of patients. Demonstrates appropriate crisis intervention and de-escalation skills and as member of team when a crisis occurs. Assist with milieu management as needed, to include front office coverage, check-in/out process, line of sight, dismissal and administrative duties as required. Other responsibilities as assigned by leadership. May be required to work flexible hours.Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work or equivalent in the behavior health fieldExperience:
3 years of post-licensure experienceLicensure:
Current Texas license as anLPC, LPC-S, LMSW, LMFT, LCSW or LCSW-S Certifications:
CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.What We Offer:
