Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring a seamless experience from appointment scheduling to follow-up care. Responsibilities Manage patient appointments efficiently using patient management software and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, ensuring accurate scheduling and documentation. Serve as the first point of contact via phone and in person, providing friendly, professional customer service to patients and visitors. Verify patient insurance information, assist with health insurance inquiries, and ensure compliance with health regulation policies. Support medical administrative tasks such as data entry, maintaining patient confidentiality, and managing medical documentation with precision. Coordinate communication between patients and healthcare providers, including follow-up calls and appointment reminders. Assist with billing processes, insurance claims, and payment collections while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, health regulations, and office procedures to ensure smooth daily operations. Experience Prior experience working in a medical or dental office setting is highly preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication purposes. Experience using patient management software or EMR/EHR systems for electronic health records management. Strong understanding of health regulation policies and insurance procedures to ensure compliance. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and client interactions. Familiarity with medical terminology, billing practices, and maintaining patient confidentiality is essential. Office experience that showcases organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment.
