Job Description
We are seeking a Clinic Manager for our Outpatient Behavioral Health facility, serving the pediatric and adolescent population.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Ensures program complies with JCAHO, HCFA, state, and patient rights regulatory standards. Coordinates, maintains, and evaluates the effectiveness of treatment planning. Processes unusual occurrence reports, conducts investigations, and corrective plans as needed. Coordinates performance improvement activities and is responsible for the effectiveness of the program quality management activities. Monitors medical records for appropriate documentation of care and effectiveness of the treatment plan. Evaluates the appropropriateness of all medical/psychiatric emergency interventions performed in the program. Monitors and provides daily feedback as required related to core measures data collection (HBIPS).QUALIFICATIONS
- Requires master's degree specializing in nursing, social work, or a clinical related mental health area, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three years of experience in a psychiatric healthcare setting is preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of JCAHO/HCFA, OSHA, state, and federal regulatory requirements is preferred.
LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Requires current state license: LPC, LPC-A, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, or RN.
- BLS certification is required upon hire.
- De-escalation training is required within 30 days of hire.
