POSITION SUMMARY
To support Hunt Regional Medical Partners' multi-specialty practice in a clinical and administrative capacity. Employee will be proficient in all areas of responsibility, with minimal supervision and oversight required

JOB SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS 1.
Demonstrates an understanding of and adherence to the HMHD Compliance Plan. 2. Conduct reflects HMHD's values and a commitment to HMHD's Code of Conduct. 3. Attends the required corporate integrity and compliance training and education programs. 4. Demonstrates proficiency in understanding the materials presented during the corporate integrity and compliance training and education program. 5. Complies with all HIPAA standards. 6. Greet and Room Patients 7. Check Vitals 8. Obtain History/Physical, Reason for Visit 9. Reconcile Medication(s) with Patient 10. Assist Physician/Provider in Patient Interaction and Procedures 11. Patient Treatment Room Preparation and Maintenance 12. Data Entry of Demographic and Clinical Information into HMRP System(s) 13. Referral Coordination, both outgoing and incoming 14. Surgery Scheduling and Coordination between Physician/Hospital and Patient 15. Pre-Operative Appointment Scheduling and Coordination between Hospital and Patient 16. Communicating Lab and Procedure Results to Patients 17. Review and Clarification of patient consent forms with patient prior to patient signing forms 18. Call/Process Prescriptions to Pharmacy as applicable 19. Ability to provide and explain instructions for Patient Procedure Preparation, Prescription, and other directives needed with regard to patient education 20. Preparation of Chart information for Physician as needed/requested 21. Inventory Maintenance 22. Patient Education 23. Teach use of Sliding Scale for correct use/dose of insulin, blood glucose monitor for patient self-management of diabetes 24. Teach use of Peak Flow Meter and Inhaler use for COPD and/or Asthma 25. Preform Glucometer, including QC of glucometer 26. Perform PFT 27. Perform ABI Measuring 28. Perform EKG 29. Determine Eligibility and Benefits 30. Authorize and Pre-Certification of Procedures 31. Schedule Appointments and Procedures in System(s) 32. Scan Documents into System(s) 33. Index Scanned Documents 34. Check in and out functions 35. Collect Appropriate Copayments and Co-Insurances 36. Answer Phones 37. Prepare documents for Transmission to External Entities via Facsimile, Mail, and Other
