This individual will play a key role in ensuring seamless patient experiences by handling front-office operations, scheduling, insurance verification, and patient tracking. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in various healthcare software systems. Manage patient scheduling and appointment confirmations to optimize office efficiency. Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally. Schedule patient appointments efficiently and manage appointment reminders Maintain accurate records of active and discharged patients Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and providing exceptional patient service. Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth office operations. Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification procedures. Handle front desk administrative tasks, including check-in/check-out processes. Strong organizational and multitasking skills Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with health information management standards. Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and scheduling software. Assist with clerical duties including filing, faxing, and maintaining organized records. Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate effective communication regarding patient care. Ensure adherence to ICD-10 coding standards for accurate billing practices. Provide bilingual support to patients when necessary to enhance communication. Qualifications Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred. Proficiency in computerized systems related to health information management is essential. Strong clerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
