Essential Functions:
Ensures all clinical visits needed are appropriately scheduled to meet the agency's patient care and service needs and in accordance with physician's orders, agency standards and regulatory requirements Tracks and provides feedback to the Clinical Services Manager when scheduled visits are missed Coordinates the scheduling of clinical visits for care team in compliance with physician approved orders and clinician plotted visits approved by Clinical Services Manager Ensures compliance with the schedule Communicates any requests to change the schedule to the Clinical Services Manager and, once approved, reschedules missed or declined visits Fields all calls related to the assigned team patients and routes to appropriate care team members Keeps the Clinical Services Manager informed on aspects within the care team specific to EMR scheduling workflow Prepares reports for scheduling tracking and participates in agency meetings to ensure patient and associate scheduling needs are met
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
Three (3) years relevant experience in medical services or clinical environment with knowledge of medical terminology including previous intake experience of at least one year. Must have Medical Assistant certification.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Ability to develop strong working relationships, possess team organization and community resources coordination skills. Paid on call rotation. Sound clinical knowledge base. Strong understanding of Axxess EMR software. Strong customer service skills including proactive identification and resolution of customer issues using sound judgment and decision-making skills within parameters established by the Manager. Strong prioritization and time management skills. Must be detail-oriented. Ability to work with minimal supervision and utilize clear, concise, and positive communication skills. Ability to manage and initiate change to better achieve strategic objectives. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure with multiple tasks, changing priorities, and short deadlines. Applicable federal and state health requirements to provide client services as appropriate.
Schedule:
This is a full time in office position. Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
