Clinical quality comes first, and every placement is a lasting partnership. The Role We're hiring a Medical Staff & Administrative Coordinator to manage the full credentialing lifecycle for our staff, ensuring every hire is verified, licensed, and compliant before they start. Responsibilities Coordinate with HR and initiate document gathering process immediately upon hire and manage and maintain documentation of existing staff.
Coordinate background checks:
criminal history, employment, and education verification. Perform primary source verification of education, licenses, registrations, certifications, and other qualifications. Submit and track privileging applications of each Medical staff until approval. Maintain and update CAQH profiles for all providers. Track expirables and send renewal reminders. Run required compliance checks (OIG/GSA exclusion lists, NPDB queries). Maintain audit-ready credentialing files in line with Joint Commission and NCQA standards. Communicate with hospital medical staff offices to resolve outstanding documentation. Support payer enrollment paperwork as needed; maintain HIPAA-compliant confidentiality. Qualifications High school diploma required; Associate's/Bachelor's preferred. 2+ years credentialing experience in a hospital, ER, urgent care, or staffing environment. High attention to detail; comfortable with compliance-sensitive documentation. Strong communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office and credentialing software (CAQH, Modio, Symplr, or similar) a plus. CPCS certification a plus, but not required.
