Medical Assistant / Patient Coordinator (Receptionist) Adore Luxe Med Spa & Health - Richmond, TX Adore Luxe Med Spa & Health Clinic is opening its doors in Richmond and is seeking a friendly, organized, and patient-focused medical assistant / patient coordinator to support both our primary care clinic and luxury med spa. This hybrid role combines front desk coordination, clinical medical assisting, and patient education to deliver an exceptional patient experience. Responsibilities Greet patients, manage check-in/check-out, answer phones, and schedule appointments. Follow up with patient leads, answer treatment questions, and educate patients on services, memberships, and promotions. Verify insurance, obtain prior authorizations as needed, collect copays and payments, and maintain accurate patient records. Room patients, obtain vital signs, document medical history, and assist with examinations and in-office procedures. Collect and process laboratory specimens. Administer injections and vaccines as permitted by certification and state regulations. Perform EKGs, injections, specimen collection, and other basic clinical duties within scope. Accurately document patient information in the EMR. Maintain exam rooms, front desk operations, and inventory and ensure a clean, professional environment. Collaborate with providers to maintain efficient patient flow and deliver outstanding customer service. Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office performing both front and back-office duties.
