This position requires a dynamic individual who can effectively manage office functions, ensure compliance with medical regulations, and lead a team to deliver high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate who has Medical assistance experience for 2-3 years and is well familiar how a medical office works. Billing experience is a plus but not required. Team work skills is a must. These responsibilities we believe can be carried out by an individual Duties Oversee the daily operations of the clinic- Front and back office Supervise scheduling, Manage staffing, and resource allocation. Develop and implement policies and procedures that enhance operational efficiency. Train and supervise staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Prior Authorizations Insurance Eligibility verification Sub MA as needed Coordinate with billing team as needed. Monitor Claims and present data of unpaid claims to Provider on a regular basis. Manage ADP/Staff hours Check Mail/Manage shipments. Collect cash and deposit Order supplies and keep up to date Experience Medical assistant experience for 2-3 years at least. Ample experience with front office and back office operations Familiarity with medical terminology and medical records management is required. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks Should be very comfortable with MS office/Excel. Should be willing to assume the role of a Medical assistant if needed (in case MA calls in sick) Athena experience preferred and not required 1 year Experience with prior authorizations for Medicine or procedure. 1 year experience primarily doing Insurance Eligibility verification. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective collaboration with staff and patients.
