Job Description

Job Summary The Chest Pain Coordinator is responsible for the management, coordination, and oversight of the chest pain program that complies with the national standards of quality for care as dictated by the American Heart Association (AHA), American College of Cardiology (ACC), and Centers for Improvement in Healthcare Quality (CIHQ). This role collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, implements education and training initiatives, monitors regulatory compliance, and leads quality improvement efforts. The Chest Pain Coordinator also serves as a liaison between the healthcare organization and the community, promoting awareness and prevention. Qualifications Education Required Completion of an accredited program of nursing
Experience:
Required Two (2) or more years of clinical experience in cardiac care patient population Preferred One (1) or more years of clinical core measures / quality improvement
Certification/Licensure:
Required Registered Nurse (RN), with Authorization to Practice in the State of Texas Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within thirty (30) days of start date
