Job Description

Carrus Health has been providing patients with the finest healthcare facilities across different locations in Texas and Oklahoma. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Identifies and interprets cardiac rhythms. Notifies appropriate nurse of changes in cardiac rhythms. Documents daily interpretation of cardiac rhythms. Utilizes knowledge of monitor system operation to assist in the proper care of patients. Performs clerical duties (telephone management, and unit organization). Reports to work in a timely manner and adheres to policies, procedures, and processes. Performs other job duties as needed and/or as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to foster a supportive role in assisting members of the care team. Requires intermediate-level computer skills. Experience navigating an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) in a hospital environment is preferred. High School diploma or equivalent is preferred. Cardiac monitoring experience/education in a critical care setting is preferred. Two years' Health Unit Coordinator/Patient Care Technician experience in an acute hospital setting is preferred. Must be able to effectively communicate in English via verbal and written means.
LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS
BLS certification is required upon hire. Arrhythmia Course Certification is preferred.
