Job Description

Workplace Type:
On-Site The Medical Records Clinical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing medical records review and audit activities to support documentation accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely response to records requests. This role supervises Medical Records staff, partners with internal teams to resolve deficiencies, and helps ensure consistent quality, strong service, and efficient workflow across the department. In this role, you will: Supervise Medical Records team members and provide support related to quality, productivity, and accountability. Oversee day-to-day medical records review and audit activities. Review medical records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with federal, state, and local requirements. Identify missing, incomplete, or incorrect documentation and coordinate follow-up as needed. Support timely and accurate completion of medical records requests. Partner with branch teams and internal departments to resolve documentation issues. Prioritize requests and workflow based on deadlines, urgency, and business needs. Promote strong customer service through professional, responsive communication. Support process improvement efforts and departmental goals.
Qualifications:
