Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring a seamless and positive experience from appointment scheduling to follow-up care. Duties Manage patient appointments by scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming upcoming visits using patient management software . Serve as the first point of contact for patient inquiries via phone, email, or in person, providing friendly and professional customer service. Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details, medical history, and current medications, maintaining strict confidentiality in accordance with health regulation policies. Assist with administrative support tasks such as data entry, document preparation, and maintaining accurate records Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to coordinate appointments, follow-up care, and billing processes. Educate patients on health policies, procedures, and required documentation to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Support billing processes by verifying insurance coverage and assisting with claims submission as needed. Skills Proven experience working in a medical office environment or healthcare setting. Proficiency in Eaglesoft and Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook for documentation and communication purposes. Knowledge of health regulation policies related to patient privacy (HIPAA compliance) and medical recordkeeping standards. Familiarity with dental terminology Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly via phone and patient interactions. Ability to multitask and handle multiple phone lines Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
