Patient Medical Coordinator

Hours needed: Day and swing shifts 7:00 am- 3:00PM or 3:00 pm -11:00PM. Weekdays and Weekends. Recovery Ways is looking for a detail-oriented, enthusiastic, self-driven person for a medical patient coordinator. Medical Patient Coordinators with support and direction of the medical coordinator manager, assists the medical providers with patient needs, such as facilitation of prescribed narcotics and prescriptions, as well as working with insurance companies, while maintaining facility policies and procedures. Medical coordinators regularly assist medical providers with patient needs, track medications and place medication orders, handle prior authorizations and troubleshoot insurance issues, problem solve pharmacy issues, attend weekly meetings with clinical staff to provider information from medical providers, help train new coordinators, complete medication and chart audits, facilitate medication times, complete urine drug analysis tests.

Pay:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
