Job Description
House of Hearing is a leading hearing healthcare practice dedicated to providing the best possible experience for our patients. This position provides valuable hands-on experience and the chance to work alongside experienced professionals. We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn, have a passion for patient care, and are committed to providing high-quality service. The Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) is the first point of contact for patients and plays a key role in creating a welcoming and organized clinic environment. This position manages scheduling, patient communication, records, and front desk operations while supporting providers and ensuring smooth daily clinic operations. The PCC also assists with patient outreach and referral efforts to help maintain strong patient relationships. This role is based at our Orem clinic and involves working closely with our remote clinic locations in Moab, Richfield, Vernal, and Mt. Pleasant. Responsibilities Answer and return patient phone calls, texts, and emails while scheduling and confirming appointments. Greet patients at check-in, verify personal information, and assist with patient intake. Schedule follow-up appointments and callbacks during patient check-out. Collect and record patient payments and maintain accurate daily payment records. Document patient interactions and maintain accurate electronic patient records. Assist with hearing device orders, repairs, and preparing equipment for patient appointments. Track clinic inventory and process incoming hearing devices and supplies. Support providers with scheduling coordination and general clinic workflow. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and clinic environment. Qualifications Exhibit professionalism Clearly articulate with patients through face to face, verbal and written communications Strong organizational skills Experience in having a sales mindset Proactive customer service skills High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates degree preferred but not required Minimum of 1 year of previous front office experience, preferably in a medical or sales setting. Previous Hearing Healthcare experience is appreciated Superior multi-tasking and time management discipline Ability to work independently and collaboratively with staff and support services Skilled in handling sensitive matters and patients with tact, courtesy, and discretion Technically savvy with computer and systems including intermediate knowledge of Google Suite. Specifically Docs and Sheets and the ability to troubleshoot scanner/printer
