HealEx has a mobile clinic in Salt Lake City, Utah that provides free, mobile medical and mental health care to people suffering from human trafficking and exploitation. The clinic aims to provide deeply integrated care to patients

• medical, mental health, and case management services. We believe in social medicine
• meaning that healing happens in the context of therapeutic relationships rather than simply through medical science.

We access exploited people, develop trust with them by providing physically healing care, engage them in therapeutic conversations and relationships, which leads to an improved sense of self-worth. We help people exit exploitation and provide continuity of care beyond their exit. We are searching for someone to take on a dynamic and meaningful role at HealEx.

The role is twofold:

Clinic Management and Case Management. This role works very closely with the executive director to manage the program and accomplish the mission of the organization.

Responsibilities:

Clinic Management

• Manage operational aspects of the mobile clinic in

Salt Lake City:

Mobile clinic maintenance schedule, cleaning, and stocking Staff and volunteer scheduling

• ride along schedules
• student schedules Supplies acquisition, ordering, pickups and deliveries Coordination with clinic partners in the community Data collection, management, and reporting All other administrative tasks required to have the clinic run smoothly each week Case Management
• Case Management of all patients served by the mobile clinic: Patient follow up and scheduling Recording and tracking data related to patients Managing a list of patients' needs and available community resources Connecting patients with resources as needed Patient logistics for appointments, detox and treatment programs, etc. Medical Assistant Cross-Training
• This role will be crossed trained in medical assisting so that they can really integrate into the mobile clinic and step in when needed to help providers care for patients Other
• Be present with all patients. Be kind to all patients. Treat all patients with respect, dignity, and peace. Listen to patients when they express concerns. Listen to patients talk about their lives and the problems they are experiencing. Create space for patients to be and to feel peace. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field
• examples might include: social work, public health, health care administration, international development, community health, psychology, nursing, nonprofit management, etc.

Master's level education is preferred but not required Legally able to work in the USA Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently This is the kind of position that is likely to grow over several years into a very meaningful career in nonprofit project management and development. This is a role for someone who would be interested in becoming a Chief Operations Officer or Executive Director in the next 5-10 years. We are looking for a candidate who would like to stay with this role for 2-5 years minimum. Ideally this individual remains with HealEx for over 10 years. Job Type:

Full-time

• 40-50 hours per week, approximately 20 hours spent on administrative work and case management outside of clinic hours, and 20 hours a week in person on the mobile clinic.
