South Jordan, UT Job Details Full-time $16 - $18 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Health insurance 401(k) Qualifications Computer operation Customer communication English X-Ray Certification Attention to detail Patient care Patient interaction Dental clinic experience Full Job Description We are immediately looking for a personable, competent New Patient Coordinator/Clinician Assistant for our sleep medicine & TMJ dental practice. We are seeking someone extremely reliable who is also great with people, communicates well, is computer-proficient, and eager to learn. Our clinician assistant works directly with our new patients, staff clinicians, and doctors, often making that important first impression for our new patients initiating care with our clinic. Reliability is especially important due to our fixed schedule for patient appointments and being the sole new patient coordinator. If you like working with your hands, with people and learning new skills, our fun, friendly, and rewarding work environment in a beautiful practice setting may be a perfect fit for you. Responsibilities Take patient medical history Prepare history of current symptoms for the doctor to review Sterilize instruments according to regulations Write chart notes for patients Skills Experience as medical or dental assistant a plus, but not required Knowledge of dental instruments & sterilization methods a plus, but not required Excellent communication & people skills Proficient computer skills Well-organized & reliable Attention to detail Flexibility and eagerness to learn Understanding of health & safety regulations
