We are seeking someone extremely reliable who is also great with people, communicates well, is computer-proficient, and eager to learn. Our clinician assistant works directly with our new patients, staff clinicians, and doctors, often making that important first impression for our new patients initiating care with our clinic. Reliability is especially important due to our fixed schedule for patient appointments and being the sole new patient coordinator. Responsibilities Take patient medical history Prepare history of current symptoms for the doctor to review Sterilize instruments according to regulations Write chart notes for patients Skills Experience as medical or dental assistant a plus, but not required Knowledge of dental instruments & sterilization methods a plus, but not required Excellent communication & people skills Proficient computer skills Well-organized & reliable Attention to detail Flexibility and eagerness to learn Understanding of health & safety regulations
