Job Description

Performs patient access activities with moderate independence, including scheduling, registration, and insurance verification. Applies established procedures to complete work, address routine issues, and support timely and accurate patient intake. Patient access work is performed with moderate independence and limited guidance while following established procedures and operational expectations. Responsibilities include completing assigned work accurately and timely, applying sound judgment within defined guidelines, and contributing to efficient patient access operations across routine daily activities. •Typical Essential Functions•+ Performs patient access activities such as scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and record updates. + Applies established procedures to resolve routine issues and address standard patient access questions. + Explains processes, requirements, and next steps to patients, families, and team members. + Supports workflow across one or more service areas through cross-training and day-to-day operational coverage. + Ensures accuracy and completeness of information entered and maintained to support patient flow and revenue cycle processes.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education:
High School Graduate or Equivalent required. +
Experience:
2+ years of directly relevant experience required. +
Licensure:
None.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
+ Job requires sitting for prolonged periods; Repetitive motion: (computer and mouse use). Proficient communicative skill across spoken, writing domains, adequate auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly and compose messages clearly and concisely. The pay range for this role is $19.50 - $33.94 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education. •Benefits•+
