Job Description

A Place To Be (APTB), a nationally recognized, award-winning, nonprofit is looking for a highly qualified, passionate Full Time Clinical Manager to join our team. The Clinical Manager must hold a Master's degree or Ph.D. in a creatives arts therapy and/or clinical management experience in social work, counseling, or related field, preferably with a background in arts experiences. All APTB staff members are active collaborators in our mission to create community, belonging, and hope through music therapy, performance, and the expressive arts. Top candidates demonstrate empathetic and clear leadership with strong reflective, management, collaboration, and organizational experience, and they are versed in trauma/culturally informed care. APTB works with diverse populations, Dx, and ages. This role is primarily responsible for managing a team of music therapists and creative arts specialists while supporting wrap-around care in alignment with the mission and vision of A Place To Be.
Primary Responsibilities/Duties Clinical Presence :
  • Maintain small caseload of individuals and/or groups
Clinical Supervision and Education:
  • Support therapists' achievement of goals and objectives for clients through weekly individual and group supervision
  • Track and report clinical outcomes and other relevant data as requested
  • Ensure highest quality in delivery of all clinical services
  • Support client transitions, assessments, progress reports and evaluations
  • Support ongoing education of the therapy/program team
  • Collaborate on interdisciplinary teams in service of clients and the mission Internship & Practicum Program
  • Supervise Intern Coordinator to ensure successful delivery of APTB's Internship and Practicum Program including clinical oversight, quality training, compliance with university requirements, and risk mitigation. Additional Qualities or Duties

  • Demonstrate professionalism, strong communication skills, openness to feedback, ethical judgment, resourcefulness, kindness, and strong presence
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and a commitment to top quality in all work produced
  • Demonstrate knowledge and practice of HIPAA compliance
  • Participate in trainings, meetings, and organization events as requested
  • Support a positive atmosphere of care and respect for all who interact with APTB
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skillOther duties as assigned
  • Relocation Stipend Considered
  • Pay:
    $63,000.00
  • $71,000.
