Job Description
ChenMed is seeking a Front Desk Supervisor to lead daily front office operations in a senior-focused primary care center. In this role, you'll supervise front desk staff, oversee check-in/check-out, insurance verification, scheduling, and co-pay collection, ensuring a warm, efficient, and compliant patient experience. You'll coach and develop team members, monitor service metrics, and collaborate closely with clinical teams to support value-based care. Ideal candidates bring strong customer service, healthcare front office experience, and a passion for serving vulnerable seniors in a fast-paced, mission-driven setting. Responsibilities Supervise and schedule front desk staff to ensure full coverage and high service standards. Oversee patient check-in/check-out, verifying demographics, insurance, and required forms. Ensure accurate insurance verification, co-pay collection, and daily cash reconciliation. Monitor front desk workflows, wait times, and service metrics; implement process improvements. Train, coach, and mentor team members on customer service, systems, and Chen Med protocols. Coordinate closely with clinical teams to manage patient flow, urgent add-ons, and scheduling issues. Maintain strict HIPAA and privacy compliance in all patient interactions and documentation. Handle escalated patient concerns with empathy and professionalism, resolving issues promptly. Prepare and review front office reports, including volume, no-shows, and collection performance. Support a mission-driven, patient-centered culture aligned with Chen Med values.
