WTCSB is seeking a professional, organized, and clinically experienced Central Admissions Manager Responsibilities & Duties for: Oversee the daily operations of the centralized admissions process, including reviewing referrals, determining admission appropriateness, coordinating admissions with referral sources, families, and program staff, and arranging external referrals when internal programs cannot accommodate consumers. Ensure all required admission documentation is completed and maintain compliance with agency policies, licensing, Medicaid, and other regulatory requirements, including conducting quality assurance reviews and protecting consumer rights and confidentiality. Supervise and support admissions staff through performance management, clinical supervision, training, scheduling, time and leave approval, and ensuring appropriate program coverage. Collaborate with program leadership to improve admission processes, address barriers, monitor admissions data, and enhance workflow and service delivery. Provide clinical consultation and training to staff, maintain current program descriptions, and spend time within residential programs to ensure accurate referral recommendations and a thorough understanding of available services. Foster collaborative relationships with referral sources, community partners, and stakeholders, promote agency services through community outreach, and represent the agency at meetings and committees as assigned. Ensure billable services are submitted for reimbursement and perform other duties as assigned by the Clinical Administrator or Clinical Director.
Qualifications and Skills :
Clinical experience in a behavioral health, crisis services, residential treatment, or similar setting required. One year of experience in a senior clinician or higher supervisory role in a behavioral health setting and/or demonstrated leadership experience. Strong clinical assessment, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and Microsoft Office applications. Valid driver's license, acceptable DMV record, and reliable personal transportation for work-related travel. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of admission processes, confidentiality requirements, and regulatory standards. Commitment to providing high-quality, person-centered services.
