Job Description
Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Administrator to lead the overall operations of our home health agency. This executive leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, financial performance, regulatory compliance, strategic planning, quality improvement, and business development. The Administrator will work closely with the leadership team to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care while maintaining operational excellence and organizational growth. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with strong healthcare management experience, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to quality, compliance, and employee engagement. Key Responsibilities Provide overall leadership and direction for agency operations. Oversee clinical, operational, financial, and administrative functions. Lead and support department directors to ensure efficient, high-quality service delivery. Develop and implement strategic initiatives that support organizational growth and long-term success. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, accreditation, and regulatory requirements. Monitor agency performance and implement quality improvement initiatives. Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and fiscal accountability. Collaborate with finance personnel to ensure accurate financial reporting and sound accounting practices. Lead operational planning to respond to market trends and healthcare industry changes. Foster a positive organizational culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and exceptional patient care. Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources, community partners, and healthcare organizations. Promote the agency through professional networking and community outreach. Supervise and mentor executive leadership, including Operations, Clinical, and Human Resources leadership. Conduct leadership performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development. Identify organizational risks and implement strategies to reduce legal, financial, operational, and compliance risks. Participate in executive meetings and provide regular operational and strategic updates to executive leadership. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Candidates must meet one of the following qualifications: Licensed Physician; or Registered Nurse (RN); Bachelor's degree or higher in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related healthcare field with at 3 year of supervisory or administrative experience in home health, hospice, or a related healthcare setting. Preferred Experience Leadership experience in Home Health, Hospice, or Healthcare Administration. Strong knowledge of Medicare Conditions of Participation, state regulations, accreditation standards, and healthcare compliance. Experience managing budgets, financial performance, and operational planning. Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams. Experience with quality improvement and performance management. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
