21 per hour Position Summary The Middle School Athletics and Facility Rental Coordinator is a dual focused role responsible for the coordination of the middle school athletic programs and is the primary point of contact for district facility rentals. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions. Attend all North Central Washington Middle school (NCWMS) leave meetings. Coordinate and finalize game, meet and match schedules for all middle school athletic contests. Arrange and manage safe, timely transportation for all away middle school contests. Provide oversight and administration for 6th-grade sports and in-district-only athletic programs, including the elementary school track program. Works with each middle school to support hiring of coaches, training and compliance of middle school coaches. Assists middle school administration with job postings and completion of payroll actions. Ensure all coaches meet district, league, and state compliance standards, certifications, and safety trainings Meet weekly or bi-weekly with middle school athletic leaders in building sites to ensure alignment, address concerns, and foster a cohesive program culture. Serve as the primary, customer-service-oriented point of contact for external user groups wishing to rent or utilize district spaces. Partner with each site administrator to maintain, update, and manage the MLSchedules platform to prevent scheduling conflicts. Oversee the day-to-day coordination and allocation of Middle School and Elementary School facilities for both internal athletic use and external community rentals. Streamline communication channels by delivering weekly middle school athletic updates, schedules, and logistics to administrators, coaches, and staff. Submit work orders related to middle school athletics facilities. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Experience in athletic administration, recreational management, facility coordination, or a related field preferred. Strong proficiency with scheduling software (experience with MLSchedules is highly preferred). Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including school principals, coaches, parents, and community members. Working Conditions Requires a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends to support seasonal athletic events or high-profile facility rentals. Must be able to travel between district middle school and elementary school sites.
