Clinical Team Supervisor 2651 Hillcrest Dr, Hudson, WI 54016 Full-time Full-time
JOB SUMMARY
The primary purpose of the Team Supervisor is to oversee and facilitate the daily needs of the designated team(s).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides daily work direction to all designated team staff and troubleshoots as appropriate Assists with execution of EMR projects, solutions, and troubleshooting Conducts LPN, CMA, and CNA annual performance reviews Ensure Clinical Services policies & procedures are adhered to adequately Manages employee timesheets and timecard approval Participates in interdepartmental meetings as appropriate Monitor & complete items in team pools/provider inboxes Monitor & assign daily tasks to team assistants to ensure accuracy and completion Review provider schedules daily, manage add on patients, & ensure teamwork Administer intravenous fluids (IVs), place catheters, and assist with ports Assist with team hospital and ER patient transfers Assist with coordinating team referrals Assess and monitor acute patient needs & report to provider Collaborate with CSM regarding new policies & protocols Complete staff counseling with CSM Assist CSM with quarterly recommendations and refill audits Perform clinic procedures and additional duties as assigned
SUPPLEMENTAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Remain punctual, reliable, and available for late coverage if applicable Maintain a positive and respectful attitude while supporting the clinic vision Maintain required RN or LPN licensure Maintain current BLS CPR certification Work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment Maintain a neat and well-groomed professional appearance Interact positively with all interdisciplinary team members Maintain confidentiality of all information acquired through clinic employment Establish and maintain positive working relationships with patients, providers, internal personnel, and outside facilities Follow clinic emergency/safety protocols and attend mandatory meetings Abide by clinic protocols, ergonomic recommendations, and OSHA standards Adhere to the philosophy and provide comprehensive care according to a patient centered healthcare clinic
WORKING CONDITIONS
Subject to interruptions, high volume telephone calls, and frequent problem solving activities Subject to hostile and emotionally upset patients, staff, or outside agencies Flexibility in scheduling required to meet department needs
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Abide by ergonomic recommendations of the position Must possess sight/hearing senses, or use prosthetic devices that will enable these senses to function adequately Stand or Sit for several hours Subject to lifting and carrying supplies averaging 25 pounds Repetitive motions involving use of phone and keyboard
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
EDUCATION:
Minimum:
Licensed RN or LPN in Wisconsin
EXPERIENCE
Minimum:
RN or LPN - Two or more years of healthcare experience
KNOWLEDGE
Ability to work independently with minimal instruction Excellent verbal and written communication skills Good judgment skills and ability to prioritize tasks Knowledge of medical terminology and general nursing skills Knowledge of PC, Windows, & Microsoft Office Exhibit leadership and time management skills
