Supervise, schedule, coach, and develop dietary staff. Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards. Maintain high standards of food quality and patient satisfaction. Oversee inventory management, ordering, and cost control. Coordinate meal service and dietary operations. Support staff training and onboarding. Collaborate with nursing staff, providers, and hospital leadership. Monitor departmental performance and quality improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and hospital policies. Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED. Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience. Preferred Certified Dietary Manager (CDM). Hospital, skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation experience. ServSafe Certification Background in nutrition or food service management. Certifications ServSafe Certification required after hire . Candidates not currently certified as a Dietary Manager must be willing to complete certification requirements within the required timeframe.
